Waihi Arts Centre & Museum

We have a small collection of around 60 artworks, mostly watercolour paintings that have been gifted to WACMA (Waihi Arts Centre and Museum Association) over the years.

The committee has in recent times received funding from the J S Say Trust to help with the conservation of the artworks and the upgrading of the storage facilities. As well as the Tetley collection, we hold paintings by Lee-Johnson, C Aubrey, Charles Tole, Spicer, Smither, Hanly and Matchitt among others.

Because most of these works are watercolours, they are only shown occasionally for short periods of time.
